We’re searching for a proactive leader to join our team as Managing Co-Ordinator for our Scotland-wide counselling services. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee and develop our counselling service areas, motivating your teams to deliver top-notch, ethical, and respected therapeutic services that align with our high professional standards and organizational goals.

Your Role and Impact

Reporting to our Head of Service Counselling and working alongside another Managing Co-Ordinator, you’ll provide the operational leadership necessary to foster an environment where our teams can thrive and evolve. Your leadership will ensure that our services consistently meet client needs and uphold our mission of consultation, recognition, and respect for both clients and team members.

While being a qualified therapist is not a requirement, those who are qualified can maintain a small client caseload to keep their skills sharp, offer effective supervision, and act as the point of clinical escalation for the region.

What You Bring

  • People Management Excellence: Outstanding people management skills and a proven track record in service management and development.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to persuade and influence.
  • Financial Acumen: A solid grasp of finance to ensure services meet or exceed financial expectations and capitalize on income opportunities.
  • Operational Leadership: Ensuring continuity across counselling services and stepping in for the Head of Service when needed.

With the geographic spread of this role, we offer flexibility in your base location, working hours, and the option to work part of the week from home.
