- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of internal audit professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with business objectives, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and evaluate key risks, ensuring that adequate controls are in place to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous internal audit methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance their internal controls and processes.
- Training and Development: Oversee the continuous development of team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Innovation: Drive the adoption of innovative audit techniques and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Experience in internal audit, with a strong background in leading and managing teams.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in internal audit.
