Maintenance Electrician – Days
Our Angus-based client is a market leader in textile manufacturing. The client produces textiles for worldwide export with applications ranging from medical, military and food production.
About the role
Work with other Shift Engineers to identify ongoing and pending tasks related to plant and machinery.
Ensure the efficient operation of all services (such as Steam, Air, etc.) and make adjustments as needed.
Install Plant and Machinery as per the specified requirements.
Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance work and keep a record of the same.
Address all breakdowns promptly. Diagnose faults and take necessary measures to minimise machinery downtime.
Conduct “PAT” Testing as required and keep an accurate record of it.
About you
Time-Served Engineer – Electrical.
Additional Training in opposite discipline (Mechanical or Electrical).
Educated to HNC/C&G level.
The ability to work on own initiative.
Working knowledge of Electrical Regulations.
Effective communication skills.
Organisation Skills.
Experience of carrying out maintenance work.
Ability to carry-out effective troubleshooting.
