Junior/Graduate Quantity Surveyor role, based in Glasgow, offering between £28k to £34k (DOE)

Your new company
An excitingopportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic Graduate or Junior Quantity Surveyor tojoin an established Commercial Team. Roles available in Glasgow. You willreceive guidance and support to put your studies into practical application asyou progress to work more autonomously. To provide effective commercial supportacross a variety of projects, including civils, structural concrete repair, andrail.

Your new role
Role is office basedwith regular site visits required to take projects from contract award throughto final accounts including:

Cost management
Reporting andforecasting
Supply chainevaluation and procurement
Contract review andnegotiation
Negotiation,management, and administration of sub-contract accounts
Change management
Issuing contractualnotifications
Negotiation andagreement of compensation events
Production andagreement of final accounts

Providing commercialadvice to Operational team

What you’ll need to succeed
A highly motivatedself-starter, you will have:

BSc in QuantitySurveying, Construction Management or equivalent qualification, experience gained froman industrial placement would be advantageous and a good workingknowledge of MS Office (minimum of Word and Excel).
