Experienced Site Manager required for exciting new commercial industrial project based in Dundee

Our client is one of the leading privately owned construction companies in the UK with a turnover circa £100 million and employing over 500 people, they are currently working on multiple large projects across Scotland. Working in partnership with their clients, they design and construct efficient buildings to the highest quality standards within multiple locations. Your new role
As one of their new flagship projects commences – an industrial £2.2million retail unit, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager on this new commercial industrial project, to take on a critical package of works. Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will lead a Site Supervisor and team of experienced subcontractors to drive this package to completion, ensuring the site is operating in a safe and productive manner. The key part of this role is coordination and organisation so you must be an excellent communicator with a strong ability to influence and motivate your team.

What you’ll need to succeed.
Site Management experience of a large commercial industrial project is essential. The successful candidate should also be confident in leading a morning briefing to a team of subcontractors and have a strong understanding of how to coordinate, organise and lead a team to achieve handover and completions. You will have a professional approach, and commercial awareness of the project, monitoring the progression and timeframe of the programme. You will have the ability to fit in well immediately with a productive site team. SMSTS is essential.
