Leading Builder Developer seeks Assistant Quantity Surveyor for Fife based project.

Our client are a leading builder developer with a strong brand across all areas of construction both in Scotland and across the UK. They are seeking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to an existing project in Fife.
Your new role
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the day to day commercial administration and management of a medium size residential flatted development in Fife. Based onsite you will be supporting the operational team to ensure the project progresses along expected lines. You will be responsible for ensuring subcontractors are progressing their works in line with their contract and managing them commercially where required. Reporting to an experienced Senior QS this is a great opportunity for and Assistant QS to develop their project and commercial experience and set you to take the next step in your career.
What you’ll need to succeed
This role requires a candidate with a degree in Quantity Surveying along with ideally 1 to 2 years experience working for a contractor within the building industry. You understand the regular flow of running a project from compiling reports, managing subcontractor queries and processing payments and ideally have experience of working within the residential construction market.
