Site Manager required on a permanent basis for large construction project in Ayrshire of a new build hospice

Your new company
Our Client are one of the leading Building and Civil Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland.
They are seeking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The project is based in Ayrshire and will be the redevelopment of a new build healthcare facility to support the local community.
Your new role
As Site Manager you will be working with an experienced team of construction professionals in the delivery of this project. Working with your subcontractors you will drive and motivate them to achieve project targets and deadlines. Reporting to the Project Manager you will take on a specific package of works such as fitout or frame and bring it to a successful completion. You will play a key role in ensuring the project is managed effectively from a quality and health and safety perspective.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of working for a main contractor on a similar large-scale project and have substantial experience of managing and leading a site team. You will have a great understanding of how to coordinate and organise a team of subcontractors as this project progresses onto foundations, the superstructure and then the roof before moving into the interior fit-out.
You will have a professional approach with the ability to fit in well immediately with a productive site team. SMSTS and black card CSCS is essential.
