Site Manager Required in Dundee – Apply Fast!

Your new role
As a site manager for this business, you will oversee commercial new build projects in the Dundee/Tayside region. Roles/ responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Planning and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the site, including managing subcontractors, suppliers, and staff.
  • Ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaising with the client, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implementing and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures, as well as environmental and quality management systems.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress and performance of the project, identifying and resolving any issues or risks.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the site team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • What you’ll need to succeed

  • A valid CSCS card, SMSTS certificate & First Aid Cert.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a site manager in the commercial sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex and challenging projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to travel and work on different sites as required.
