Senior Site manager
Your new company Our client is a leading contractor in the delivery of Grade A office space, they are currently working on multiple large projects across Glasgow and Scotland. Working in partnership with their clients, they design and construct efficient buildings to the highest quality standards. With a strong brand based on high quality workmanship and exceptional client satisfaction they are one of the best contractors in this space.
Your new role As one of their new projects commences – a £10miilion commercial building extension – they are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager to take on a critical package of works. You will be reporting to the contracts manager to drive this package of works to completion ensuring your team of experienced subcontractors complete the sequence of works in a productive manner. The key part of this role is coordination and organisation so you must be an excellent communicator with a strong ability to influence and motivate your team.
What you’ll need to succeed. The ideal candidate is from a joinery or degree background with substantial experience of managing commercial industrial projects with understanding of how to coordinate and organise a team of subcontractors to achieve handover and completions. You will have a professional approach with the ability to fit in well immediately with a productive site team. SMSTS is essential.
