Exciting Role for Experienced BID Manager to join ambitious and growing builder/developer

Your new company
Our client are a leading multi-faceted builder developer with ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years. To facilitate this growth they are seeking to appoint an experienced bid manager to their preconstruction team.

Your new role
As Bid Manager , reporting to the Pre Construction Director , you will be responsible for managing and driving a series of bids and tenders from initial inquiry all the way through to a successful result for our client’s business. You will do this by working with and engaging with as series of internal stakeholders such as the precon team, operations function and commercial function to produce and submit a series of winning bids and tenders to a range of projects mostly focused within the social and public housing markets across Scotland.

At all times you will utilise your exceptional commercial and operational experience to ensure external stakeholders such as clients and consultancies are communicated with effectively to develop our clients reputation in this market.

What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have extensive bid management experience ideally within a large building or residential development company. You will have experience of working with and understanding the challenges of frameworks in this space and have a deep understanding of risk management and commercial insight in the precon phase of construction. You will be an exceptional communicator and are comfortable communicating with all levels of the organisation from delivery staff to executives.
