Premium Fitout Contractor Seeks Senior Site Manager to be their next Project Manager.

Your new company
Our client are a leading design and build fitout contractor whose deep relationships with large public and private sector organisations guarantee them a sustainable pipeline of interesting projects. Due to some imminent project commencements they are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver complex fitouts across Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Your new role
As Site Manager you will be reporting directly to the national operations manager so you will have a strong degree of autonomy in how you run your projects. You will be responsible for organising and supervising all activities on your projects which are typically in the range of £0 to £5million and will be usually with a large demanding public or private sector organisations. Our client pride themselves on their level of repeat business with existing clients so the successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills along with deep expertise in the delivery of fitouts.

What you’ll need to succeed
Our client are seeking to develop their team in Scotland so the successful candidate must have aspirations to develop their career into project management. You will be from a trade or related tertiary background and have a strong grounding in the delivery of complex fitouts for large organisations. You take pride in your work and see yourself as a professional who can sit across the table from project stakeholders and leave them with the impression that their project is in good hands.

What you’ll get in return
This role is initially on a freelance basis but our client are committed to building a strong permanent team in Scotland. This is not a role for a career freelancer but perhaps are open to working this way initially to get your foot in the door with a premium organisation. A competitive hourly rate will be paid and our client are known for paying exceptional and over the average salaries to their permanent employees.
