Your new company
A tier 1 main contractor are seeking an experienced Site Manager – as one of their new large-scale projects commences in Glasgow.
This is an excellent freelance opportunity and has the potential to be long term due to scale and estimated duration of the project – commencing October.
Your new role
Your role will be to manage and oversee the start out of a new build project in Glasgow – previous experience in working on main contractor builds is essential as well as knowledge in civils as you will be on this project from the initial phase.
Reporting to the project manager you will lead a team of groundwork subcontractors as this project commences. The successful candidate should also be confident in leading and briefing a team and have a strong understanding of how to coordinate, organise and drive a team.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate should have experience in leading groundworks subcontractors and be an excellent communicator. Experience in managing a similar large-scale project for a main contractor is essential along with CSCS – black, SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary works (coordination or supervision)
