Permanent Opportunity for a Project Manager in the Inverness area

Working for a major construction company, you will join them on a permanent capacity to head up a new project in the Inverness area. This role has an immediate start and offers a competitive salary package.
Your new role
In your new role as a Project Manager you will lead the delivery of a large scale construction project in the Highlands. Working closely with your Construction Manager you will oversee all aspects of on site delivery whilst having a close working relationship with the commercial department. Working to create a programme of works, appointing and managing sub-contractors, organising allocation of labour and materials, heading up a small site management team to deliver against agreed timescales, within health & safety standards and to a high standard. You will chair site meetings with the internal team, client and external contractors and other stake holders.
What you’ll need to succeed
This is a varied role, suited to an experienced Site Manager looking to take a step into a Project Manager role or someone with existing experience as a Project Manager. This role requires you to have strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate on all levels to achieve optimum results. Technical experience in Construction and Civil Engineering would be essential, with you able to demonstrate a track record in construction management roles. You will hold an SMSTS and CSCS card as a minimum; additional qualifications such as NEBOSH or First Aid would be advantageous. Strong IT skills are a must for record keeping and reporting.
