Leading Tier 1 Building Contractor Seeks to Appoint Design Manager to their DM team.

Your new role
Our client have a full order book for the next few years and to ensure it is delivered in line with their industry leading expectations they are seeking to appoint a Design Manager to existing team of specialist design managers. Working closely with the construction directors and project management team you will be responsible for driving the design process of large complex building projects all the way from conception through pre construction to final handover. You will be a key part of the delivery team ensuring the continuing success of our client.

What you’ll need to succeed
Our client are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. The ideal candidate could be working as an experienced construction project manager who is seeking to apply their technical building expertise to the design management process. They could also be an architect who has had aspirations to work for a main contractor and feels now is the time to move into a design management role.

Of course our client would be very interested to hear from design managers already working for tier 1 and tier 2 builders who have worked on projects across the education , healthcare or commercial construction space.
