Large National Fitout Contractor seeks Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Central Belt.

Your new company
Our client are a large national fitout contractor who specialise in high end fitout for blue chip retail and commercial clients up and down the country. With a busy 2023 ahead of them they are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to their team in the Central Belt.

Your new role
This role is for an experienced degree qualified quantity surveyor with experience for a reputable main contractor of fitout company. You will be working on projects all over the country and could be handling multiple projects at any one time up to a value of £5million. Reporting to the regional commercial manager you will be exposed to all stages of the project lifecycle from preconstruction cost reports to procurement schedules and analysis all the way to contract management and final handover.

What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is a degree qualified quantity surveyor with a strong commercial savviness already developed in their time in the industry. Our clients typical client base are private sector asset owners who have expectations of their builders and will test you commercially so an ability to negotiate will be essential. You could be assistant QS looking for a step up in accountability and responsibility or an experienced Project QS looking for a change.
