Our client seeks to appoint a Project QS for interesting project in Fife. New build with complex fitout.

Your new company
Our client are a well respected main contractor who are a specialist in the provision of building projects to select government agencies such as the MOD , UK Government and Department of Education along with mixed commercial projects all over the country. They are currently in preconstruction on a £6million project in Fife which is a new build office development for a prestigious government agency. As the project ramps up they are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to run the project.

Your new role
As Senior QS or PQS on this project you will be responsible for the full commercial delivery of this project. Based onsite you will be fully embedded in the site team and work closely with your PM and Commercial Director in the smooth running of the project. From sourcing and organising your supply chain to working with the project stakeholders to facilitate progress you will be a critical component to the successful completion of this project.

What you’ll need to succeed
Our client are ideally looking for an experience project quantity surveyor or senior quantity surveyor who is degree qualified in a relevant discipline. You will have worked on similar sized projects as a QS and have experience of working for a reputable builder on new build commercial projects. You enjoy being based onsite and getting involved with the site team to ensure the project is commercially successful.
