Job Description
We are seeking a Geospatial Information Specialist to work for a company that operates in the Water Industry predominantly installing & configuring monitoring equipment and repairing & maintaining valves on the Water Network in and around your region.
Geospatial Information Specialist (Water Industry) – Daily activities
- Responsibility for the quality and efficiency of work within a particular region
- Engaging with all key stakeholders
- Production of a weekly action plan
- To review pre and post maintenance data performance
- Design and commissioning of clean water network systems
- Liaison and integration with the client s customer, technical supporting field staff and supporting servicing partners
Geospatial Information Specialist (Water Industry) – The Candidate
- Full driving licence essential
- A minimum of 2 years experience preferred – ideally within the water industry working on operational water networks
- A strong technical understanding.
- Ideally HND or Degree in a related discipline
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience with liaising with project managers and the technical disciplines involved in a project
- Be well organised with the ability to work in structured environments
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
- Ability to take control of tasks and projects from the handover meeting
- Keeping to deadlines to complete and acceptance by the customer
