Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team, working on cutting-edge systems across various industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites to diagnose and resolve issues, perform upgrades, and support existing systems.
- Work on instrumentation and sensor installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Access live control systems and troubleshoot industrial networks, including protocols like Ethernet, Modbus, and DeviceNet.
- Receive detailed software and technical support from the technical team at the head office.
What We’re Looking For:
- Familiarity with instrumentation and sensors (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance).
- Competent electrical experience for live control systems (e.g., panel access).
- Industrial network and communications knowledge (Ethernet, Modbus, DeviceNet, or similar).
Training & Development:
- Full training provided on specific systems and products.
- Offshore training and certification (BOSIET and Medical) included, as offshore work is a key requirement.
What’s On Offer:
- On-target earnings: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum (inclusive of site uplifts, offshore allowances, paid overtime, and site multipliers).
- Basic salary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
- Additional benefits: 5% annual bonus, private medical healthcare, life assurance, up to 11% combined pension, and more!
- Role split: 50% office-based, 50% site work (up to 75% site work during peak periods). Travel includes UK and occasional overseas/offshore visits.
