Overview:
Corrie Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join the commercial team at our clients head office in Inverness.
The successful candidate will play a key role in bidding for civil engineering projects across the Highlands & Islands, ensuring competitive, accurate, and compliant tenders are prepared.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and competitive tenders for civil engineering projects
- Source and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
- Work closely with project managers and directors to ensure effective bid strategies
Requirements:
- Substantial estimating experience in civil engineering
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software packages
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
