Job Title; Engineering Technical Sales Support
Salary; DOE
Shift Pattern; 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Location; Oakham, Rutland
Our client, a fast growing specialist company based in Oakham, is seeking an Engineering Technical Sales Support who demonstrates enthusiasm, organisational skills and able to prioritise workloads to ensure a smooth running of the business.

The Engineering Technical Sales Support Role;
- Develop and target new business prospects
- Expand business with dormant and existing accounts
- Prepare detailed technical cost estimates and build competitive, customer-specific proposals
- Create service, parts and new product quotes and maintain consistent follow-up communication with customers
- Identify current and future customer service requirements
- Actively utilise CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, new information is added, and accurate call / visit logs are entered
- Research and analyse market trends, including parts pricing, and competitor offerings
- Liaising with customers, and internal departments, throughout the front-end planning ensuring timely service delivery
- General and technical administration and support
- Provide technical expertise and application support throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences, requiring occasional travel
The Engineering Technical Sales Support Candidate;
- Experience within a technical sales role
- Qualifications within Engineering would be advantageous
- Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work independently within a fast paced environment
- Ability to research and analyse market trends, competitor offerings and pricing strategies
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
