Job Description
Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to work with their customer based in Perth. This is a day shift position where you will be driving a rigid vehicle making deliveries and collections across Scotland. You may be assisted by a drivers mate at times, however, you should be prepared to complete manual handling work using a tail lift, and a pallet truck.
Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements:
- Category C entitlement on your UK driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience
In return, the Class 2 HGV Driver can expect:
- Basic rate of 15.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Overtime rate of 23.53 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Monday to Friday shift pattern, with Saturday’s by arrangement
- Shift start times of 07:00AM each day
This position is temp to perm where the successful Class 2 HGV Driver will have the opportunity to be employed on a full time, permanent basis by our client, following successful agency period.
