Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Auxiliaries

Location: Glasgow

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

The Senior Engineer – Auxiliaries is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of auxiliary systems within the Engineering sector. Duties include conducting detailed technical analysis, providing expertise on auxiliary equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Professional engineering certification


A degree in Engineering or a related field is required for this role.


Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role, with a focus on auxiliary systems within the Marine, Energy, Oil and Gas industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong technical expertise in auxiliary systems design and implementation
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working on large-scale engineering projects

Working Conditions:

The Senior Engineer – Auxiliaries will primarily work in an office environment, with occasional travel to project sites. The role may require working extended hours to meet project deadlines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
