Finishing Assistant

JDR are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Cupar, who are looking to add an Operative to to their growing Finishing team.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.60, with long-term prospects for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
– Removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal components
– Using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to finish parts to specification
– Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy
– Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets
What We’re Looking For:
– Previous experience in a similar role or within a manufacturing/engineering environment
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– A proactive and reliable approach to work
Shift & Pay:
– £12.60 per hour DOE
– Temporary to permanent contract
– Full-time hours, day shift only.
