Warehouse Coordinator
Perthshire, Scotland
Alexander Steele is working with a leading manufacturing business that is seeking an Warehouse Coordinator to support the smooth running of day-to-day logistics, warehousing, and site operations. This is a key role ensuring compliance, coordination of transport schedules, and efficient communication across departments.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily transport operations including driver scheduling

Oversee inbound and outbound stock movements between production sites, third-party warehouses, and co-packers.

Maintain accurate stock control, reconciliation between system and physical inventory, and container coordination.

Manage administrative duties such as purchase orders, waste disposal, and facilities support.

Support compliance requirements, ensuring all documentation and reporting are up to date.

Liaise with production, quality, and planning teams to align inventory and order processes.

Act as a site representative for Health & Safety, including Fire Warden and First Aider responsibilities (training provided).
Background Experience:

Previous experience in operations, logistics, or transport coordination within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Strong knowledge of scheduling, and warehouse operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Forklift licence desirable
