Interim Valuer – Insurance Valuations (Local Authority)
I am looking for an experienced Valuer to support the Property Services team in a local authority I am working with. The candidate will be working on insurance valuations across the commercial and operational property portfolio.
The successful candidate will:
- Undertake and review insurance reinstatement valuations for a diverse range of assets, including offices, depots, leisure facilities, and community buildings.
- Ensure valuations are accurate, compliant, and reflect current market and construction cost trends.
- Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, and insurers to maintain robust asset data and risk coverage.
Requirements:
- MRICS and Registered Valuer.
- Proven experience in property valuations, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
