Job Description
LCI and Completion Lead for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Scotland
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the LCI strategy and execution plan aligned with project milestones.
- Develop and implement LCI procedure for the project.
- Coordinate with engineering and document control to ensure proper tagging, metadata, and structure of LCI deliverables from the contractors.
- Manage the preparation and execution of LCI handover to operations, ensuring completeness and validation of all required documentation.
- Completion Management.
- Development and execution of Mechanical Completion within the Completion
- Management System (CMS) in collaboration with commissioning and quality.
- Define system boundaries and ensure proper tagging and systemisation of equipment and documentation.
- Monitoring fabrication and manufacturing inspections, FATs and final inspections to ensure alignment with project milestones and quality expectations.
- Monitoring of Mechanical Completion (MC), and the Commissioning function, PreCommissioning, and Commissioning activities to ensure alignment with project milestones and quality expectations.
- Approve handover packages and confirm readiness for operations/start-up in collaboration with internal stakeholders and contractor teams.
- Data & Document Management
- Act as the primary interface for LCI and completion-related matters across engineering supply chain, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Interface with engineering, quality, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless data flow and documentation integrity.
- Support integration with asset management systems or digital twin platforms where applicable.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance.
- Ensure all LCI deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Support audits and conduct regular reviews to verify data integrity and completeness.
Requirements
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in project completion and LCI management within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of industry standards for LCI
- Familiarity with interface coordination and document control systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- BSc/MSc or other relevant degree. Experience may substitute for formal education
- Document control platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Omega365 or similar)
- Lifecycle information systems and databases

- Completions Management system
