Anderson Knight are recruiting for a Bid Writer for a manufacturing client in South Lanarkshire. The role will be fully onsite 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:

Research and understand client requirements, project scope, and specifications.

Write clear, concise, and persuasive bid proposals tailored to client needs.

Work closely with the technical and sales teams to gather information and develop winning strategies.

Ensure all proposals are compliant with client instructions, timelines, and regulations.

Edit and proofread bid documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.

Manage multiple bids simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Assist in pricing strategy development and cost estimation for proposals.

Maintain and update a library of standard proposal content, case studies, and credentials.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the bid process.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in bid writing, proposal writing, or a similar role (preferably within the manufacturing industry).

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Ability to translate technical and complex information into clear, compelling content.

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Familiarity with the manufacturing process and related industries is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software (experience with tender portals is a plus).
