Solicitor – Property & Construction Litigation (2-5 PQE)
Location: Edinburgh
Overview
An established UK law firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to join its Property & Infrastructure Disputes team. This is an exciting opportunity to specialise in both Property Litigation and Contentious Construction work within a collaborative and high-performing environment. Applicants with contentious experience within the clean energy sector are also of specific interest.
Responsibilities
- Complex property contract disputes
- Landlord and tenant issues
- Title and boundary matters
- Servitudes and rights of way
- Property-related debt recovery
- Telecoms disputes under the Electronic Communications Code
- Post-completion defects claims and professional indemnity work
You will work closely with colleagues across the firm and have opportunities for advocacy in courts and tribunals.
Candidate Profile
- 2-5 years’ PQE in litigation (property and/or construction experience advantageous)
- Strong legal research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Enthusiasm for advocacy and dispute resolution
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage workload effectively
