Overview
Individuals are needed to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds at Peterson Park Playing Fields. Working with our Grounds Keeper, tasks include: controlling overgrowth and developing hedgerow, tidying of paths, litter control, planting flowers and bushes, and generally maintaining the appearance of grounds.

Men’s Shed at Peterson Park
The Peterson Park Men’s Shed meets weekly at Peterson Park in Knightswood. We are looking for retired individuals or people with time to spare to help fix-up and maintain the Men’s Shed. Puppy Raiser opportunity
Love puppies? Become a Puppy Raiser and help change a life. As a Puppy Raiser you will care for a 6-8-week-old puppy and guide its development over 12-16 months, helping it learn and experience the world while preparing it to become a guide dog. Maintenance volunteers for boats on Forth & Clyde Canal
Join maintenance volunteers to keep boats in good working order, enabling charters and participation in canal events. Experience in electrical or marine engineering is welcome, or volunteering for those eager to learn more.
Bike Lending Library volunteer
Role includes assisting in bike maintenance, refurbishing donated bikes, sorting and upkeep of the library space, and assisting in organised bike rides. The program supports the local community by providing access to bikes.
