Counterbalance FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative required for 6 month contract

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Manage inventory using a warehouse management system, keeping accurate records of stock levels.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential, an in date Counterbalance Cert ( must be from a recognised training provider – no in house certs can be considered )
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory control.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required for accurate shipping and receiving processes.
