Class 1 HGV Driver (4 on 4 off)
We have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC’s and RDC’s.This is clean work with no handball and presents Class 1 Drivers with long term year round work.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ 4 on 4 off shifts
+ Fixed days or nights – Days 7am to 9am starts / Nights 7pm to 9pm starts
+ Roughly 12 hour shifts
+ Guaranteed 9.6 hours per shift minimum pay with OT paid out after 9.6 hours each day / 5th shift worked will be at the OT rate for the whole shift.
The successful Class 1 Driver will:
+ Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
+ Have a valid tacho and DQC card
+ Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
+ Trunking goods around the UK+ Trailer swaps and backloads
You will receive:
+ Nights – £18.75 per hour
+ Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily – £28.12 per hour
+ Days – £16.38 per hour
+ Days OT after 9.6 hours daily – £24.57 per hour
