Job Title: KS2 Teacher – Opportunities Across Newport

Pay: £166.32 – £240 per day (depending on teacher pay scale)

About the Roles:
Academics are seeking Key Stage 2 teachers for long-term placements starting in September 2025.

There are a variety of roles available across Years 3 to 6, offering flexibility to suit your strengths and experience – from class teaching positions to more targeted support roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the KS2 curriculum
• Support and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching where needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
